Alexxx and The Walls We Live In

On the 30th of January a special show opened, titled "Alexxx and the Walls we Live in", where a new collab between Alexxx and me was presented at No Limits! Art Castle in Amsterdam 🔥

No Limits! Art Castle is the first art space in the Netherlands that stands for a boundless art world, meaning no boundaries between so-called ‘outsider’ artists and the rest of the art world.

And Alexxx fits perfect inside that boxless box: a former homeless heroin addict who started drawing with ballpen on every piece of paper he could find while being in prison. And since I fill up the pages of my sketchbook wherever I go with ballpen as well, it wasn't too difficult for us to find a starting point for the drawings we made together, resulting in a wallpaper design which will be shown at the exhibition.

Two other wallpaper designs by Alexxx in collab with Mai van Oers and FreelingWaters will be presented as well during the show.

The show is on view Wed - Sun from 12 till 19 o'clock
