INVICTUS group expo in Porto

INVICTUS is derived from the Latin in-victa — that which remains unconquered, unyielding, and raw — INVICTUS reflects a long-standing reverence for the North of Portugal: a region defined by a genuine character, deep heritage, and fierce creative resilience.

The painting on show is the last remaining canvas from my 'Last Train to the Inevitable Beyond' series. It probably was back then my least succesful show when that series originally was shown, but over time they all got sold, were shown in London and Barcelona, and became one of the most important series in my artistic development. So I am reall happy to see this one against the raw backdrop of this industrial space.
